Romsdalen is one of the most picturesque valleys in Norway with the Rauma river winding its way along the valley floor. Among the many majestic mountains here is Trollveggen reaching 1,788 metres above sea level. Trollveggen includes Europe’s highest vertical rockface soaring 1,000 metres. We have spoken with Trygve Leren at Trollveggen Camping, who recommends the following five things to see and do in Romsdalen this summer.
If you’re fortunate enough to find yourself in Romsdalen this summer don’t miss a tour over Romsdalseggen in the heart of the beautiful Norwegian mountains. Romsdalseggen offers views that will take away the breath of the most experienced fell-walker, with mountains, fjord-scapes, craggy peaks and waterfalls everywhere you look.
